He’s a beauty – male and a year or more old, by the size and colours, but with common lizards, it’s always a guess, as they’re so varied. But this one’s a beaut.

Note: actually, I see them nearly every day, but usually further up the path, on the sleeper fence. And this time, I happened to have my camera to hand when I saw him… They usually run off by the time I’ve got my camera ready, but not this one. Seemed set to stay till the sun went down!
