The Narroways site will be closed from dusk on 14 June until dawn on 15 June 2014.
The trustees have taken this decision because of the damage caused to the site in previous years by large numbers of people congregating on the hill after the City Farm Fair for an ‘after party’.
The theme for this year’s City Farm Fair is ‘Wildlife in the city’. If it were to turn out that the Fair resulted in one of the inner city’s most valuable sites for wildlife being damaged, it would be both ironic and regrettable.
So please, stay away from the site on the night of the 14th, and ask your friends to as well.
