An early sighting

Walking past Narroways Hill today, along the foot path on Cutthroat Lane, I saw an adult common lizard (Lacerta vivipara) basking on the sleeper fence. Time was about 11.45 am. This is very early indeed to see lizards out and about. If you’ve seen them around here recently, post in the comments section below to let us know…
